Who Is Rebecca?
In June of 2018, my world was shaken when I received the news that my sister had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In that moment of shock and helplessness, I closed my eyes and prayed, asking how I could help her, and if there was anything I could do. In that stillness, I heard the voice of my spiritual guides softly say, "You can help her, but not alone." That’s when JB entered the picture.
Before we began working on my sister in September of 2018, we practiced with family and friends. What surprised us was the consistent response we received: “This is the most powerful and healing massage I’ve ever had. You two should turn this into a business.” That’s when we realized we were onto something special, and Duo Dragons was born.
Our journey began with my sister’s healing path. By June of 2019, she had gone into remission, but her story didn’t end there. In October of 2021, her oncologist noticed her cancer markers rising, and we embarked on a new phase of her healing journey. The image to the right is of her in July 2022, after finishing chemotherapy in March and embracing a holistic approach that was showing incredible promise.
However, in August of 2022, my sister faced unexpected setbacks—two new tumors had appeared. We knew her time was limited, but in those final months, we shared deep conversations, laughter, tears, and love. It was during this time that I realized something beautiful—through her healing journey, my sister had become a part of Duo Dragons in a way that transcended any treatment. She had helped heal many of our clients, and her legacy would live on through every session.
